Girl Crush: Sophie Dahl... and her kitchen

 

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was spent at home, watching movies, listening to the rain and browsing for new cookbooks online. One of the new cookbooks I purchased is Sophie Dahl's, Miss Dahl's Voluptuous Delights. While browsing through some of her cooking videos on youtube, I fell in love with her kitchen! I love kitchens with an old vintage, cottage like feel: large farmhouse sinks, butcher block counter tops, subway tiled backsplash and white cabinets.

Whoever styled this kitchen set got it right on in my opinion. I love the small simple details of fresh flowers, bright colored utensil holders and pops of color all throughout.

I am excited to try out some new recipes, in particular her coconut chicken curry.
