What I Got for Christmas! and updated Dining Room

This was #1 on my Christmas wish list, and my sweet husband bought it for me.

Here is an updated view of my dining room with the beveled mirror above the buffet and new chandelier :) What do you think? I know walls are still a little bare, especially since new coat of white paint... I have some ideas in mind. I'll keep you posted on that ;)

My sweet sister gave me this Louis Vuitton book I have been wanting. I just love the colorful sleeve, so pretty!

Got this leopard coat from my mom, I love the huge collar and feel of the faux fur. Can't wait to wear this out!!

I guess I was a good girl because my husband surprised me with this Hello Kitty hand mirror I have been wanting and new perfume, Victor Rolf Flowerbomb...smells ah-may-zing!!!! love it!

Lastly a picture of my little love bug on Santa's lap :) I can't believe how much he has grown compared to last year.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday spent with your loved ones. I am so thankful to have spent another year celebrating love and togetherness with those I cherish. Hope you all have a happy safe new year!

Dining Room {almost complete}

Finally! I have dining chairs. We decided on the IKEA Tobias chairs. They are sleek and give a modern touch to the room.

"bar" setup

Gave this old chest a fresh coat of white paint and spray painted the handles gold.
Just wanted to share a small peek at what I have been up to. My dining room is almost finished! Considering it took me over a year to find chairs I loved, I'd say this room is on its way :) I moved the mirror I had over my desk area above the buffet. Next, is a new light fixture, and I've already found the perfect chandelier. I'm so excited!

Lotsa Leopard!

Leopard print shawl from Charlotte Russe

Tory Burch Reva Flats in leopard print

Over sized leopard print scarf

In case you didn't already know, leopard is a huge trend this Fall. As I've said before, I have always been a fan of leopard. What's great about this print is it's so versatile. You can throw in pops of leopard if you're wearing brown or black.

Recently, I have re-discovered a shop I used to go to when I was in Jr. High, Charlotte Russe. I must have been spending too much time over at Forever 21 because boy have I been missing out. Don't get me wrong, I still love F21, but I find the items at Charlotte are a tad better quality. Take for example this elegant leopard cape. I had been eyeing this little animal for a few weeks and finally went in to get it. I will save this for the more dressier occasions, like winter parties or date night dinners with Jeff. The antiqued brooch detail is beautiful. I plan to wear this cape over a LBD with some black tights and black booties.

How better to wear a trend than on your feet?! I had been wanting a new pair of Tory Burch Revas, so I decided to take a walk on the wild side and get them in yup, you guessed it, leopard print. Not to mention I'm a fan of the gold Tory Burch emblem.

Lastly, my final leopard purchase to date is a big rouchy bandanna shawl/scarf. This is going to look so good paired with some black skinny pants, a crisp white button down shirt and black ballerina flats (the leopard on neck and feet might be a tad much...what do you think?), or skinny green cargos, a black velvet tuxedo jacket with gold buttons and Tory Burch leopard revas. I would love to know what all your Fall leopard trends are :)
